Happy Valentines Day from the Niemann-Pick Children's Fund!
Each and every holiday whether that is Christmas or Valentines day, we ought to seek out and remember the basic principles of each of those days. The “love” and “thanks” that is part of the root meaning should reminds us to tell our loved ones that we love them. Even if we dislike them at the moment, we should express the gratitude for them! (Easier said and done, huh?)
Something To Consider
Families that live with a rare disease like Niemann-Pick Type C understand the importance of cherishing everyday. Not to say that families who don't have a Rare Disease like NPC don't carry through with this notion but life puts things in perspective sometimes when these occurrences happen. We at the NPCF would like to say Thank you for all your support but more importantly remind you to simply give your loved one(s) a big ol' hug and tell them you love them! You just don't know how much time you have with someone.
